A Different Approach
At FITdogs Club I use a different approached called Free Will Teaching.
This approach recognizes that both puppies and dogs are intelligent beings deserving of understanding, respect, and companionship and is built on the principle that puppies and dogs possess self-awareness and cognitive abilities that are often underestimated.

Taught Not Trained

With Free Will Teaching, puppies and dogs are not trained but are taught as you would children. Life is a journey, and the Free Will Teaching approach reflects this philosophy.
Conversational Language
Instead of focusing on specific commands or behaviours, conversational language is used with your puppy or dog, helping them to become self-aware and empowering them to make true choices.

Family Members
Central to the Free Will Teaching methodology is the recognition that your puppy or dog is a cherished member of your family.
Kindness and Compassion
Teaching is approached with kindness, compassion, and empathy, eschewing negative methods in favour of nurturing understanding and fostering your puppy or dog’s innate joy for life.
